Xiang Gao, professor of nutritional sciences and the 2020 recipient of the Evan G. and Helen G. Pattishall Outstanding Research Achievement Award will present the Pattishall Research Lecture via Zoom Webinar.
Gao will discuss how he and his collaborators examine different risk factors for Parkinson's disease and restless legs syndrome (RLS), seemingly unrelated conditions that both relate to dopamine levels in the brain.
