Surface Artist Cooperative

Heidi Lewis founded the Surface Artist Cooperative in July 2009. Other artists in the co-op include The Kelly Green Gallery, art and design by Kelly Green Barter; Boomerang Art Glass, fused glassware and jewelry by Pernille Sporon Boving; Contempo Jewelry, hand crafted by Staci Egan; Lovely Mud Pottery, by Lee Ann Jeffries; and Stefanie Kyle Design and Knowledge, a web design and computer learning center.
Located at 201 Elmwood Street at the site of the former Caroline Riley Company, the Surface Artist Cooperative provides artists with space in which to share costs and clients by providing a wide range of services. The rustic, barn-like feel of the two story property presents the participating artists with optimal creative space.
